our core values

At Adapt Rehab & Chiropractic, our mission is empowerment through movement. To this end, we have 4 core values that inform that mission:

  • While pain is the main reason many people become patients, we don’t build treatment purely from your diagnosis.

When making decisions about your care, we want to know who you are.

  • Positive change through the course of care is not only recognized but encouraged.

  • We learn about you through listening to your story, your experiences, and your questions.

We do this in the hopes of helping you listen to your own body, in order to build confidence and resiliency of physical movement.

  • Rather than an “all-or-nothing” approach, we emphasize stacking small daily efforts towards larger long term goals.

We aim to provide a welcoming and motivating environment that facilitates this process.

dR. josh wald-kerr

Dr. Josh grew up in Lansing, Michigan, and began shaping his understanding of movement early through a lifelong karate practice. Training under a world-renowned teacher and later instructing karate classes himself at Michigan State University, he developed a deep appreciation for disciplined movement, mentorship, and how physical practice can support personal growth. During those same six years, he worked within several nonprofit agencies, reinforcing his commitment to meeting people where they are and supporting their overall well-being.

In 2021, he found the opportunity to bring these passions together and began his chiropractic education at Logan University in St. Louis. He graduated Magna Cum Laude in December 2024 and continued to expand his clinical skill set with additional coursework in Pain & Rehab, Personal Training certification, Active Release Technique, Selective Functional Movement Assessment, and Flexion-Distraction treatment.

Today, Dr. Josh blends his background in martial arts, social work, and evidence-based chiropractic care to help people move with confidence and clarity. Outside the clinic, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Lindsey, playing music, and exploring new avenues of movement and exercise.

He takes pride in guiding patients toward tools that help them understand their bodies, navigate pain, and build durable strength for recovery.
